Senior Landscape Designer
- 3-5 years of related professional experience;
- Professional Registration or an eligible candidate with the BCSLA is preferred;
- LEED registration, although not required, is an asset;
- Proficiency in Vectorworks (preferred), Adobe Creative Cloud, and Microsoft 365 in a macOS environment;
- Experience in 3D modelling and visualization software such as Rhino, SketchUp, Twinmotion, and Grasshopper;
- Applied knowledge of Pacific Northwest plant materials is an asset;
- General knowledge of Building Information Modeling is an asset;
- Ability to think strategically and make confident decisions in written, spoken, and drawing form;
- Skilled in schematic and analytical diagramming, design development, planting, grading, construction detailing, cost estimation, and contract administration;
- Knowledge of presentation types and formats: Schematic Design, Rezoning, Permitting, Tender Documents, and Contract Administration, including report writing and presentation layout;
- Ability to work collaboratively and thrive within a studio office environment and interdisciplinary design teams (Architects, Engineers, etc) and interact with Owner/Client; and
- Basic understanding of project management (scheduling, time, and budget).
We offer a salary range of $65,000 to $70,000, excellent benefits and professional mentorship.
