Coquitlam Town Centre Park

This multi-field tournament complex attracts teams from all over Western Canada for soccer, track and field, rugby, football, and field hockey tournaments. The sports facilities integrate within the established Town Centre Park and Stadium. The plaza is the gateway to the tournament fields and features spectator seating, team gathering areas, canopy structures, and amenities for participants.

A large celebration plaza was programmed for a wide range of civic events and gatherings. Playgrounds, water parks, picnicking, and trail systems connect activity areas to major tree canopy planting and naturalized park spaces. The brownfield site was a former Lafarge sand and gravel pit and industrial operation. The original Park Master Plan was completed in 1997.
