Built on a 16-hectare site, this regional water treatment project features 10-hectares of site restoration and a 2.5 hectare naturalized roofdeck.
Salvaged soil, stumps, and woody debris is combined with native plants to enhance habitat value. The operations building features extensive green roofs, a permeable paved parking lot, rain gardens, and outdoor amenity areas for staff and visitors. Public trails loop the site perimeter.
